WPL( .WPL) - File Extension InformationWindows Media Player Playlist (.wpl) files are client-side playlists that are written in a proprietary format. Microsoft introduced this file format in Windows Media Player 9 Series. The .wpl format can create dynamic playlists, whereas .asx and .m3u formats cannot. In Windows Media Player 9 Series, the auto playlist feature uses the .wpl format. The .wpl format is the default file format used for playlists that you save in Windows Media Player 9 Series.

- Drag the wpl file on Mini-stream Ripper(MSR)'s UI. MSR will load it automatically. Also you can click on the Load button on the left of MSR's screen to open the file Loading screen. Then click 'ok' to load the wpl file.
- If the stream has been sucessfully loaded, you'll get the message "Please press 'Start' to start ripping". If not, you'll get an error message.
 - Click on the Start button on the right of Mini-stream Ripper's screen to start ripping.
